Water Tower Listing
Linton's water tower, for 70 years a landmark on Rivey Hill, has been put forward for a conservation listing. English Heritage are supporting the application and the final decision is to be made by the appropriate Government department.
It is hoped that a Conservation order will result and the water tower, built between 1935 and 1936, would then be safe for future generations.
